Contact form / email signup: if you leave your email address in the form on this site, we process it solely to reply to your message or send the information you asked for. The form is handled by Web3Forms, which forwards the submission directly to our email inbox — we do not maintain a separate database of form entries. Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR (consent given by submitting the form).
Google Analytics 4: with your consent (see the cookie banner) we use Google Analytics 4 to see how many people visit the site, how they read the essays, and whether the content is useful — this includes basic visit statistics as well as interaction events (scroll depth, clicks on the main call-to-action / newsletter signup, clicks on outbound links, and language switches between the English and Polish versions). IP addresses are anonymized; we do not run ad profiling or remarketing. Data is processed by Google Ireland Limited (transfers to the US rely on the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework). Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR (cookie-banner consent, Consent Mode v2 — off by default until you click "Accept").
Microsoft Clarity: with the same consent, we also use Microsoft Clarity to see how the site is actually used — click and scroll heatmaps, and anonymous session recordings with automatic masking of text-entry fields (an email address typed into the form is never visible in a recording). We do not combine this data with ad profiling or with data from other sites. Data is processed by Microsoft (transfers to the US rely on the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework). The site uses only analytics cookies — Google Analytics (_ga, _ga_*) and Microsoft Clarity (_clck, _clsk) — loaded only after you consent — plus one technical cookie storing your consent choice (cookie_consent_v1, localStorage). You can withdraw consent at any time by clearing site data in your browser; the banner will reappear on your next visit.
Data may be processed by the service providers we use: Google Ireland Limited (Google Analytics 4), Microsoft (Microsoft Clarity), Web3Forms (delivering contact-form / signup submissions to our inbox), and Hostinger International Ltd. (site hosting). No data is sold or shared with third parties for marketing purposes.
Contact-form data is kept until the matter is resolved, for no longer than 24 months. Google Analytics data is retained per the GA4 account setting (14 months). Microsoft Clarity data is retained per the provider's default setting, typically no longer than 12 months.
You have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict, or port your data, and to object to its processing — as well as to withdraw consent at any time (without affecting the lawfulness of processing carried out before withdrawal). You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your national data-protection authority (in Poland: UODO).
